Asklepios 96

The latest issue of the journal of the International Asclepiad Society is now with the printers and will be printed before Christmas for mailing early in the New Year after the Christmas rush.

This issue contains an interesting mix of articles:

  1. Calotropis procera in Botswana by Bruce Hargreaves
  2. Some observations (on cultivation) by Hans Kaptein
  3. A newly discovered species of Rhytidocaulon from Northern Somalia by Tom McCoy
  4. I like growing hoyas by Eva-Karin Wiberg
  5. Showing Asclepiads by Chris Moore
  6. Some notes on the ant plant Hoya imbricata in cultivation by Andrea Cattabriga
  7. Book review (of the stapeliad book by P.V.Bruyns) by Paul Forster


This issue is the second of the current subscription period (Asklepios 95-97) and will only be sent to paid up members. This will also apply to the next seed list due January 2007. If you have not yet done so, please renew promptly. You can find details on the home page of the website.

Although we have some material already for future issues, anyone with material please contact me privately.
